The mighty Benjamin Cutmore


There was not much left from Benjamin Cutmore in B Boys Platform final on Thursday night. British diver improved 11 points from the morning ending up with a huge total of 429,70 points at the end of the final. His premiere was fantastic 305C which was awarded with couple of nines from judges, first ones in Helsinki finals so far, by the way. Stefano Belotti from Italy reached for silver with 381,35 points and bronze medalist came from Russia, Andrei Turkov with 367,65.

Elizaveta Kuzina from Russia was victorious in the final of B Girls 1 meter. She earned another springboard gold with 322,10 points, a safe 7 points margin ahead of Ukrainian Anna Arnautova. Kuzina missed about 6 points from the morning and looked so relieved when spotting her final points from the scoreboard. There was a tight battle for silver medal, Anna Arnautova was only 1,2 points better than Emilia Nilsson Garip from Sweden. Both improved a lot from the preliminary. First medal for Sweden in Helsinki.

Russia impressed in Boys Synchronised Platform final. Aleksandr Lebedev and Ruslan Ternovoi signed couple of times 9.0 for synchronization and ended up on the highest podium with 315,06 points. Ukrainian Yevhen Naumenko and Oleh Serbin earned 9.0 for execution as well as British duet Aidan Heslop and Lucas Thomson. Ukraine total for silver medal was 281,94. Great Britain grabbed bronze with 276,84.
